The school gates close for summer — and for a lot of families, that’s when the real logistics begin. VentureCamps are here to take the pressure off, with a full programme of themed weeks designed to keep children active, engaged, and having fun right through the break.

What VentureCamps looks like

Each week runs with its own theme, so no two weeks feel the same. Expect a mix of:

• Active play and sports — team games, outdoor challenges, and plenty of running-around time
• Creative projects — arts, crafts, and hands-on making tied to that week’s theme
• Group games and social time — building friendships across different school year groups
• Familiar, safe surroundings — sessions run at St John’s Catholic Primary School, so children are in a setting they already know

Who can join?

VentureCamps is open to children aged 3-11 years who attend St John’s, as well as families in the wider community looking for reliable, high-quality childcare. You don’t need to book every week, pick the days or weeks that fit your family’s schedule.
