Ad‑hoc sessions are ideal for parents who need occasional childcare without a fixed pattern.
Availability varies depending on demand. Regular bookings secure your child’s place each week, while ad-hoc sessions are offered when space allows. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
Yes, where space allows. Bookings made within 48 hours are classed as late bookings and must be arranged via the KidsVentures mobile. A small late-booking fee applies.
Prices for VentureStart, VentureSpace and VentureCamps are available on our Booking System and in the KidsVentures flyers at reception. Fees vary depending on the session type and whether you book a regular weekly pattern or ad-hoc sessions.
We have clear, tested emergency procedures in place — including full evacuation and incident response plans — to ensure children’s safety at all times.
Yes. KidsVentures prioritises sustainable, durable and child‑safe materials across our settings. We use long‑lasting options such as melamine dinnerware, stainless steel cutlery and polypropylene storage, reducing waste and avoiding single‑use plastics wherever possible.
Yes. Breakfast and a healthy snack or light tea are provided depending on the session. We aim to serve nutritious, balanced options that children enjoy.
Children who are unwell should not attend KidsVentures sessions. This helps us keep all children safe, comfortable and protected from the spread of illness. Full guidance is provided in our Policies and Parent Handbook, shared with families at registration
Our wraparound care (VentureStart and VentureSpace) is currently available only to children attending St John’s Catholic Primary School. However, VentureCamps may open to the wider community during school holidays. If your child does not attend St John’s, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to discuss your situation.
