Flexible Payment & Funding Options

Tax-Free Childcare – HMRC

We accept Tax-Free Childcare payments, and it’s now easier than ever thanks to integration with our booking system!

How it works: For every £8 you pay into this scheme, the government tops up your account with a further £2, which you can use to pay for childcare. So, for example, if you deposit £80, the government will contribute £20, giving you a total of £100 to spend on childcare.

How to set up Tax-Free Childcare (please skip Steps 1 and 2 if you already have a HMRC account and/or JAG account):

1. Apply for and create your Tax-Free Childcare account via https://www.gov.uk/get-tax-free-childcare

2. Register your account with us today by clicking here.

3. Link KidsVentures to your HMRC account via gov.uk/sign-in-childcare-account — use your venue’s name, postcode or Ofsted registration number which can be found when using the search function on our website, here.

4. Connect your HMRC account to our booking system: Login to our booking system, go to Account > Account Details, click ‘Connect Account’ on the HMRC card and follow the steps.

Once connected, your TFC balance will show in our booking system and apply automatically to your bookings — no manual payments needed.

Already using TFC? Cancel any existing standing orders to avoid duplicates. You can top up and view your balance in our booking system under Account > Account Details.

Student finance childcare grant

Are you a full-time student who’s currently studying for an undergraduate degree, Initial Teacher Training (ITT) course or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)?

If your answer is ‘yes’, we have great news for you: you’re eligible for a childcare grant for the academic year.

We encourage you to explore the possibility of Student Finance by contacting your college/university or reaching out to CCG via email at info@ccgpay.co.uk or a call to 08004880961. Once your eligibility for the grant is confirmed, please inform our Admin Team at admin@thekidsventures.com.

You could be eligible for:

A maximum of £183.75 a week for one child, or up to 85% of their costs (whichever is less)

A maximum of £315.03 a week for two or more children, or up to 85% of their costs (whichever is less)

Universal Credit

Universal Credit is a government-funded scheme to help with your living costs, including childcare. You may be able to claim it if you’re on a low income, out of work, or cannot work. Check your eligibility and find out more here: https://www.gov.uk/universal-credit

If you’re looking to claim Universal Credit, we require an upfront booking and payment on your KidsVentures account. You can obtain a ‘tax letter’ for proof of payment by emailing our Admin Team.

Upon receiving the tax letter, promptly upload it to your Universal Credit journal. If eligible for reimbursement, the Universal Credit team will process the claim accordingly.

Working families value the reassurance of a regular place at our clubs, knowing their child is cared for throughout extended school hours. To support this, we offer a monthly instalment plan that allows families to secure consistent sessions, whether for VentureStart Breakfast Club, VentureSpace (Express & Extended) After‑School Club or VentureCamps Holiday Camps while spreading the cost of termly or yearly bookings.

Our instalment plans provide stability, flexibility and peace of mind, helping make high‑quality wraparound experiences more manageable for families.

With benefits like those below, it’s easy to see why many families choose this option.

Missed payments or failed instalments

If a payment or instalment ever fails, there’s no need to worry. Our booking system will automatically notify you and give you time to update your payment details so your child’s place remains secure. Simply log in, amend your card information, and the system will retry the payment.

Sibling Discounts

Wraparound Care
10% Off for 2+ Siblings

Families booking two or more siblings into our Venture wraparound care automatically receive a 10% Sibling Discount. The discount is applied at the checkout stage whenever siblings are included within the same booking.

You'll see the reduced amount clearly displayed on your booking summary, so you can see exactly how much you're saving!

Early Bird Booking

VentureCamps Holiday Club
10% Off — Book 6 Weeks Ahead

Families who plan ahead can enjoy our Early Bird 10% Discount on VentureCamps. Simply book your child's holiday club place at least six weeks in advance, and the saving will be applied automatically at checkout.

When bookings are made early enough, VentureCamps also offer the option to secure your child's place with a small deposit, with the remaining balance due closer to the camp start date. Bookings made nearer the time will require full payment at checkout.

KidsVentures Cancellation, Credits & Rescheduling

Need to change or cancel a booking? That’s absolutely fine. As long as you provide at least 48 hours’ notice, you can manage your booking directly through your online account. Simply log in to reschedule your session or receive a full credit to use towards a future booking. Everything is handled smoothly through our booking system, keeping the process quick and hassle‑free for families.
